What a Stretch

The Penguins went 3-0 over the extended Holiday break with 3 impressive wins, starting with a hard fought 1-0 win in Buffalo, a goaltending duel in a 2-1 victory against the Senators in which Fleury made 43 saves, and ended Saturday with a 4-1 drubbing of the Calgary Flames. Sidney Crosby continues his multiple game point streak with a hat trick on Saturday, and 2 assists in the previous 2 games. I didn't get to see the games on Wednesday and Friday so I have no insight on either of those but the Penguins looked unstoppable against the Flames on Saturday. If the team continues to play like they have been in November they will be unstoppable the rest of the season, the Pens also jumped 7 places in the ESPN Power Rankings to number 5 take that as you will since the Canucks moved from 15 to 7 and if I remember correctly they recently took a drubbing in 3 consecutive games at the hands of Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Phoenix, followed by wins against some mediocre teams this year San Jose and Colorado.
