Pens Nation Afternoon Update 8-21-09

The title of this post is a tribute to the blog written by one Rob Rossi whom does updates every month or so and gives them titles like he has been updating all along and I figured since I have been taking some time off and haven't updated in over a week this title was only fitting.

There hasn't been very much activity in the past week expect the Penguins staff visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers in Latrobe during one of their practices. Bylsma and company did a little‚ recon on what it takes to defend a championship title. While there they chatted with players and coaches such as Mike Tomlin. Also for the next couple of weeks updates will most likely continue to be spread out as my schedule has been rather hectic as of late trying to get things done for here on top of my work schedule, dek hockey schedule, and gym schedule. Things will get back into full swing again once camp commences though I can almost‚ guarantee‚ that.
