Penguins Steal One on the Road Against Islanders

So I happened to miss the first half of this game because I had become so depressed over the Penn State loss just minutes before the puck dropped in this one that I never recovered to watch any sports til about 8:15 when I realized I was missing the Pens game. So being that I missed the first half let's talk about what I did see. This one came down to the wire in a shootout which Petr Gun lifted the Penguins past the Islanders with a backhand shot above the shoulder of Joey MacDonald. The Machine Tyler Kennedy put in a 2 goal performance last night and got a facefull of shaving cream from a teammate during his post game interview for it.

The third period looked rather unusual for the Pens this season because they dominated the Islanders throughout the period keeping the puck in the offensive zone for most the period and outshot the Islanders 18-1. Goal's were scored in this one by Staal, two from Kennedy and the Shootout winner from Sykora. Let's check out some hightlights from the game.
