Penguins Re-Sign 2 Veterans

Bill Guerin signed a 1-year contract to stay with the Penguins


The Pittsburgh Penguins have made a little noise today signing 2 veterans to contracts today. The first is 4th liner Craig Adams whom inked a 2-year deal, the terms of the contract have yet to be released. The second signing was that of 38 year old Billy Guerin whom signed a 1-year contract to stay with the Penguins. There has also been no details released on this deal either, stay tuned for more details as they become available. Other notable Penguins free agents that are yet to sign or be offered contracts: Rob Scuderi, Ruslan Fedotenko, Hal Gill, Philippe Boucher, Mike Zigomanis, Petr Sykora, Miroslav Satan, and Mathieu Garon.

Update: Bill Guerin's contract is worth an estimated $2 million, and Craig Adams is totaling around $1.1 Million making it a $550,000 cap hit. This leaves the Penguins with somewhere in the neighborhood of $6 million left under the cap.
