Its A Game of Magic

The Penguins took on the Flyers last night at Mellon arena, and I'm not going to lie I was thinking shutout early in the second period. If you didn't get to see the game you probably would have been in the same boat after seeing the Pens dominate the Flyers offensively and defensively. But after the Penguins jumped out to a commanding 3-0 lead in a period and a half there was a little what I like to call "Madden Magic" you know the shit that happens in video games that should never happen, well the Flyers scored a couple fluke goals and it gave them the 4-3 lead at the end of the second. This pretty much ended the night for MAF, which played stellar until the Pens seemingly lost the momentum after they gained the three goal lead. On came Sabu in the third where he shut down the Flyers and allowed the Pens to tie the game 4-4 late in the period on another Crosby goal, sending the game into a shootout. There were a couple close ones on Sabu but he shut down all six shooters while Alex Goligoski put one by Martin Biron as the sixth shooter for his first shootout goal. Crosby(2), Malkin, and Cooke all tickled the twine in this one. Time for the highlights.
