Geno and Candy Awarded with “A” Honors

Head Coach Michel Therrien has named foward Evgeni Malkin the Alternate Captain for the remainder of the 2008-2009 season. He has also named defenseman Brooks Orpik the Alternate until fellow defenseman Sergei Gonchar returns to action. Good move on the part of Therrien, because I don't think the whole rotation idea was working out to well it wasn't allowing anyone to step up like a leader should.
