GameDay Playoff Edition Game #1 Red Wings

Sid At Warm-ups

The Finals start tonight in Detroit as the Penguins look to jump out early against an aging Detroit team that is battling through some injuries to key guys. Players such as Datsyuk and Draper will most likely be out of the lineup, Pavel Datsyuk being the big loss for the defending champs as he was their leading scorer in the regular season and there is yet to be word on a return if any in the playoffs for him.

If the Penguins continue to play the same type of hockey they have been playing under Bylsma particularly in the Playoffs, I believe in all honestly it will be tough for Detroit to repeat. I'm going to take the Penguins in 6-games or less in this one for the simple fact that Detroit is tired and is missing some key players on their end and on the Penguins are more experienced than they were last year and are the fresher team.
