The Hurricanes are awesome, today they traded away Joe Corvo to the Bruins for a bag of marbles and upgraded to Tomas Kaberle for $4.25 million which is 2 mill more a year than Corvo.

Keith Yandle cashed in today in Phoenix with a 5-year deal worth $26.26 million.

The Winnipeg Jets locked up Captain Andrew Ladd for the next 5-years with a contract worth $22 million.

The Penguins signed Alexandre Picard to a two-way deal worth about $600k at the NHL level.

The Pens also resigned Baby Pens goalie Brad Thiessen to a 1-year deal.

The Penguins development camp opens on July 11th with a scrimmage open to the public on July 16th.
