Around the Boards 10-06-10

We have been away from the site for the past week getting ourselves prepared for the the season which is in fingers grasp away. There should be some big updates coming through the wire in the next day as we prepare for the inauguration of the Consol tomorrow night.

Speaking of tomorrow night it appears as if Old Man Pronger will be gracing us with his presence on the the ice.

I don't know if any of you out there realized this but yesterday marked the 5 year anniversary of the Sidney Crosby era here in Pittsburgh.

The Penguins made some rumblinings today sending Simon Depres back to his Junior team, and they also named their Captains for the upcoming season.
